Crossroads Art Gallery showcases Cecilia Lueza

CLEARWATER - The Crossroads Art Gallery at St. Petersburg College’s Clearwater Campus, 2465 Drew St., presentS paintings by Cecilia Lueza on Jan. 16-31, including a lecture by the artist on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
The show will feature 18 paintings on oil canvas.
“In my work I strive to create images of mystery, energy and surreal beauty,” Lueza said. “The paintings represent the balance between the mind, spirit, and physical self in search for greater understanding and the desire for deepening our connection with nature.”
Lueza attended La Plata National University in Buenos Aires. Over the past 15 years, her work has been displayed in more than 40 shows throughout the United States and Latin America.
The Art Gallery’s exhibitions and events are free and open to the public. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
