PINELLAS COUNTY - The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has filed a number of additional charges against a Pinellas Park man.

Joseph N. Belanger, 26, was arrested on March 5 for a burglary of Ferg’s Bar in St. Petersburg. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced March 18 the addition of four more charges. St. Petersburg Police also has linked Belanger to cases in its jurisdiction.

According to a report from the sheriff’s office, Belanger has been arrested for:

- Commercial burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief on Feb.12 at Vegas Show Girls, 10570 Gandy Blvd. in St. Petersburg.

According to detectives, Belanger allegedly made entry into Vegas Show Girls about 4 a.m. by cutting a hole in the roof of the establishment. Belanger made entry and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the office.

- Grand theft and felony criminal mischief on Feb. 17 at Island Way Car Wash, 1234 Pasadena Ave. S. in South Pasadena.

At about 10 p.m., Belanger (and an associate Joseph Massengill) were captured on surveillance video allegedly breaking into a cash machine at the Island Way Car Wash, the report said. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

- Commercial burglary on Feb. 23 at 10 Pins Lanes Bowling Alley, 1453 Pasadena Ave. S. in South Pasadena.

Detectives said that between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., Belanger allegedly cut through an AC duct and made entry into 10-Pins Lanes Bowling Alley. He then broke open a safe and fled with and undisclosed amount of cash.

- Felony criminal mischief sometime between the evening of Feb. 27 and early morning of Feb. 28 at Blue Lagoon Car Wash, 5300 Seminole Blvd. in Seminole.

The report said Belanger allegedly attempted to break into a pay station located at the Blue Lagoon Car Wash. According to detectives, he attempted to pry it open but was unsuccessful and fled the scene.
