CLEARWATER – The Board of County Commissioners on April 22 unanimously approved authorizing additional funding to keep the community posted on the Belleair Beach Causeway Bridge project. Commissioner John Morroni was absent.
The approval authorizes an additional payment of almost $39,000 be paid to E.C. Driver & Associates Inc. for additional Web site, Web cam and mail-out services requested by the county.
The original agreement called for the consultant to prepare a quarterly mail-out that would be given to the county to print and mail. After the first mailing, county staff requested that the consultant be asked to provide the service of preparing, printing, addressing and mailing the quarterly report.
The additional funding will be paid for by Penny for Pinellas.
