LARGO – A variety of artists gathered in Ulmer Park on June 28 for the city’s second annual Flair for the Arts event, an exhibit of traditional, digital, textual and performance art.

The event drew a modest crowd as artists met with attendees to talk about their inspirations, tools, methods, experiences, goals and influences.

Those displaying their creations set up in and around the park’s gazebo. Works on display included paintings, photography, digital artwork and custom-made jewelry. A local poet offered profound observations through his verse.

The city will host two additional Flair for the Arts exhibits this summer, including one on July 26 and another on Aug. 23. Since different artists are expected to participate, each exhibit should vary in artistic styles, disciplines, themes, mediums and masteries.
