CLEARWATER - Clearwater police are investigating an apparent shooting death in Clearwater, according to Elizabeth Daly-Watts, public safety spokeswoman.
Francois Bing, 26 of Tampa, was found lying near a driveway at 913 Engman St., Clearwater. The homeowner came outside and found the victim on Monday, July 14. He called 911 at 7:31 a.m. after he unsuccessfully tried to revive him, Daly-Watts said.
Detectives said the shooting was a result of an altercation. Several people were seen running from the area at the time; detectives are investigating their identities and if they were involved in the crime.
