Taylor Ikin, “Water's Up” from the Brooker Creek Series
TARPON SPRINGS – The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art presents “Fragile Florida: Watercolor Paintings” by Taylor Ikin through Sunday, Sept. 4.

Ikin, an artist based in Tampa, is best known for her expressive watercolor paintings. The exhibition features a series of site-specific paintings based on local imagery in the County’s environmentally protected lands and protected properties acquired through the Environmental Lands Acquisition Properties Program. Since the general public cannot access these protected areas, Ikin’s paintings offer a rare and unique glimpse into their natural beauty.

Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Thursday evening hours are 5 to 9 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday admission is free to all.

The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is at 600 Klosterman Road on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College. Call 712-5762.
