MADEIRA BEACH – Dean Johnson, 40, of Treasure Island, was arrested on Sept. 12, and charged with false imprisonment and battery after a woman complained that he had touched her inappropriately and held her against her will.
Deputies responded to the victim's complaint at Lou’s Tattoo Shop, 13325 Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach, about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to the report from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the victim went to the tattoo shop to talk to Johnson about getting some new tattoos. While in the shop, the suspect allegedly made numerous sexual advances toward the victim.
The victim told deputies that Johnson refused to stop after being asked several times. The report said that when the victim tried to leave, Johnson pulled her into the back office of the shop and continued the sexual advances.
The victim told deputies that she struggled with Johnson before managing to free herself and leave the shop.
Johnson was being held in the Pinellas County Jail without bond on felony charges of lewd or lascivious battery. He also was charged with one count of false imprisonment with a bond amount of $5,000, and one charge of battery with a bond of $250.
