PALM HARBOR – The Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Ave., is collecting donations of pet food and supplies for All Pets Kitchen, feeding hungry and homeless pets in Pinellas County.
All Pets Kitchen is a countywide program begun in 2010 by For Paws Hospice in conjunction with the Petco Foundation and Humane Society Pinellas. All the food collected fills the pantries at the Humane Society and Neighborly Care’s Meals on Wheels Program for distribution to Pinellas families in need of food assistance for their companion animals.
Since August 2010, All Pets Kitchen has collected more than 6,000 pounds of pet food for the two programs. Donation drop-off points include the Palm Harbor Library, Petco store locations at U.S. 19 and Curlew Road in Palm Harbor and U.S 19 in Pinellas Park.

All donations of unopened food and new or gently used supplies are accepted. Donations are eligible for a tax deduction through For Paws Hospice a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization “Keeping Pets and Their Families Together.”
