Bealls Inc., headquartered in Bradenton, and employing over 10,000 associates in the areas impacted by the recent hurricanes, recently announced a companywide effort to contribute funds for hurricane victims.
“On behalf of the Bealls Inc. family of stores, our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by the recent storms. We know many of our associates and guests have sustained significant damage and loss of power, as have some of our stores that were in the path of the storms. We are gathering information from our associates so that we can offer them assistance through our R.M. Beall Sr. Charitable Foundation hurricane relief fund for associates,” said Matt Beall in a press release. Beall is senior vice president of Bealls Stores Inc.
Bealls family of stores (Bealls, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet and Bunulu) has kicked off a campaign through which its associates and guests can make a donation right at the register. Bealls Inc. will match dollar for dollar, up to $50,000, in matching funds to provide much needed money for affected communities.
One hundred percent of the monies collected will go to the American Red Cross effort to support Hurricane Irma and Harvey relief efforts. Donations collected at Beall’s Outlet stores in Georgia and Arizona as well as all Burke’s Outlet stores will go towards Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Donations collected at Bealls Stores Inc. and Bealls Outlet in Florida will support Hurricane Irma relief efforts.
Bealls has a 102-year tradition of caring for its associates and the communities that it serves.
