In an effort to help Florida residents and businesses in the metro Tampa/Clearwater areas recover critical data from damaged media, Kroll Ontrack, a subsidiary of KrolLDiscovery, is donating data recovery services to those impacted by Hurricane Irma.
The company is also working with Tech-Zone, a CompuCom company, to add emergency drop-off locations throughout Florida at which victims can drop off their damaged media, including computer hard drives, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, storage devices and more.
Expert data recovery specialists will be available and offering in-person consultations and evaluations of damaged media. Florida residents impacted by the storm will receive free data recovery service.
Additionally, businesses impacted by the flooding and power outages will receive a deeply-discounted flat fee for recovery of any single desktop, laptop or hard drive/SSD.
Kroll Ontrackís team and its partner network are currently on-site at Florida locations open daily to accept drop-offs of damaged computers/devices and are also able in some cases to pick up drives and other media for data recovery.
Locations include Tech-Zone Clearwater, 13501 ICOT Blvd., Suite 110, Clearwater; and Tech-Zone Tampa: 3627 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.
