Misa en Español
SEMINOLE – St. Justin, Martyr Catholic Church recently added a Misa en Español every Saturday at 6 p.m.  Other Masses are presented Saturday, 4 p.m.; Sunday, 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. (in English); and Sunday, 7 p.m. (in Portuguese). Daily Mass is at 8:30 a.m., preceded by the Rosary.

Nar-Anon meeting
OLDSMAR – A Nar-Anon group meets Saturdays, 10 a.m., at United Methodist Church, 207 Buckingham Ave.

Nar-Anon, a 12-step support group for families and friends of addicts, is a worldwide fellowship that offers help by sharing experience, strength and hope. The group is designed for those affected by someone’s addiction.

Republican Club translation services
CLEARWATER – The Hispanic Republican Club of Pinellas County offers translation services, citizenship classes and other assistance on Saturdays at its office at 1167 Woodlawn St. The office is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All services are free of charge.

Safe boating classes
MADEIRA BEACH – The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 11-3 offers monthly safe boating classes at its headquarters at 299 Boca Ciega Drive. Classes meet the first Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $40 per person.

The classes are open to the public and recommended for anyone who owns a boat, a personal watercraft, anyone interested in purchasing a boat or anyone who wants to learn safe boating practices.

Classes cover subjects such as navigating the waterways, operating a boat safely, legal regulations, what to do in an emergency, getting to know your boat and information you need to know before getting underway. Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1988 must take a boating safety course and have a valid boating certificate and a photo ID while operating a vessel.

Experienced U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors teach all classes. For more information, call 391-5185.

CLEARWATER – The outreach office of the Pinellas County Hispanic Republican Club, 1161 Woodlawn St., is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide services to people for whom Spanish is their primary language.

Fourth of July fireworks celebration
MADEIRA BEACH – The city of Madeira Beach plans its annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration on Sunday, July 3, at ROC Park next to Madeira Beach Recreation building, 200 Rex Drive.

Paddleboard yoga
ST. PETE BEACH – Residents will have an opportunity to strengthen their core and find relaxation on the water with paddleboard Yoga at the St. Pete Beach Aquatic Center. Classes are held on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

The class is good for first-time paddlers or those looking to expand their existing practice. Each class will include basic paddling instruction and gentle yoga on the water. Reservations are required. Limited space is available.

The cost is $15 for St. Pete Beach residents or $17 for a nonresident. To reserve your spot call the St. Pete Beach Aquatic Center at 363-9264.

Patriotic musical celebration
ST. PETE BEACH – Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church will celebrate the 237th birthday of America with a patriotic musical celebration Sunday, July 3, at 10 a.m. Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church is located at 107 16th Ave., St. Pete Beach.

The “Let Freedom Ring” celebration will be held in lieu of the traditional worship service. Under the direction of Dale Williams, keyboardist with the Florida Orchestra, and seven vocalists, the program will include renditions of “America, “America the Beautiful” and “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor” among other stirring patriotic songs.
