Regal Cars ECO Center grand opening
CLEARWATER – Regal Cars ECO Center, on the corner of Drew Street and Northeast Coachman Road in Clearwater, will host its grand opening Saturday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This hybrid business model, where more than one company operates from the same locations, is the first to offer different types of hybrid transportation.

At the center, shoppers will find an array of factory hybrid cars getting an average of 51 mpg. The selection features many different makes and models.

“Hybrid technology has a long way to go but for now, there’s no better way to get from point A to point B than in a hybrid vehicle,” said owner Garry Wilson in a press release.

For those interested in converting their current vehicle into a hybrid, Barry Hart of Fuel Genie Systems has developed a simple, easy to install hydrogen injection system that has the capability to increase mileage in most cars by 20 to 40 percent on the highway. Don Chamberlain, who handles hybrid bicycles, has the latest models of electric and gasoline assisted power added to the pedals.

The event will feature free hot dogs, Fuel Genie Hybrid demonstrations and music. Attendees also may register to win a free Fuel Genie Hybrid System for their car or truck.
