'Midsummer Night’s Dream Ballet'
TARPON SPRINGS – Tampa Dancenter will present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Ballet” on Saturday, May 17, 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 18, 2 p.m., at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St.
Directed and choreographed by Mark Anthony Jelks, the production is based on Shakespeare’s comic masterpiece, with music composed by Felix Mendelssohn.

ST. PETE BEACH – Hosted by Southern Wine and Spirits and the Abilities Foundation, the second annual Tampa Bay Wine and Food Festival will take place Thursday through Saturday, May 15 to 17, at the Don CeSar Beach Resort, 3400 Gulf Blvd.
Featuring noted wine makers, premier wines and both local and international chefs, this festival brings international recognition to the gastronomic culinary scene in the Central Florida/Tampa Bay area. Events will include a concert by jazz artist Brian McKnight, the Titanium Chef Competition, a black tie gala dinner, wine seminars and a grand tasting on the white sand beach at the Don CeSar.
