Bermuda Avenue Triangle

Wordier Than Thou will present “Dawn of the Donald,” an artsy protest and book release, on Friday, Jan. 20, 7 p.m., at The Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S., St. Petersburg.
Set to take place on the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration, this event will include readings from the new “Dawn of the Donald” book (pre-orders available at the event), plus improv, music and more. Performers include improv from Mature Content, stand-up from Becca Childs. musician/author Ricko Donovan, author Lisa Luella Kirchner, writer and professor Cole Bellamy, author D Michael Hardy and more.
Admission is $5. Proceeds will benefit The Studio@620 and the ACLU. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Sacred Lands will host Music and a Meal on Friday, Jan. 20, 7 p.m., at Sacred Lands, 1700 Park St. N., St. Petersburg.

Rosewood Creek is based in St. Petersburg and plays electric Americana and roots-rock music. Their show is high energy and appeals to all kinds of people. Much of the band’s material is original, written by one of the three songwriters in the band. Four of the five members sing, and three part harmonies are often heard.
In addition to the bass and drums of the rhythm section, audiences may hear acoustic and electric guitars, 12-string and lap steel guitars, mandolin, fiddle, percussion and maybe even a banjo or ukulele. Cover songs are by a diverse range of artists including Lucinda Williams, Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mark Knopfler, Donna the Buffalo, Richard Thompson, and a host of others.
