NEW PORT RICHEY – Stop in at any of Gulfside Regional Hospice’s Thrift Shoppes and you will notice purple shoes throughout the store in memory and honor of a loved one. Until the Hike for Hospice on Nov. 8, these paper shoes will be on display and available for purchase with a $1 donation at all Thrift Shoppe locations.
“It is so inspiring to go into one of our Thrift Shoppes and see the shoes on display. The shoes humanize what the Hike for Hospice is about – walking in memory and honor of our loved ones,” said Gulfside’s president and CEO Linda Ward. “All of the shoes bought at our stores will also be at our Hike for Hospice this year to motivate our hikers.”
