All Children’s offers fitness, cooking classes

ST. PETERSBURG - All Children’s Hospital is offering classes for children, including the following.
- Fit4Allkids- Weight Management and Fitness Classes
This is a fun and interactive program that encourages children and teens to do their personal best and reach their individual goals for weight loss, weight management and physical activity. Fall sessions will start in September. Please see locations and start dates below.
Clearwater YMCA- Monday, Sept. 14
James P. Gills –New Port Richey - YMCA- Monday, Sept. 14
Greater St. Petersburg YMCA- Tuesday, Sept. 15
Largo Bardmoor Branch YMCA- Wednesday, Sept.23 (Teen Program)

- Kohl’s Cook’s for Kids Family Cooking Classes- the tastiest place to learn about healthy cooking, free of charge.
Measuring spices, grating cheese, washing lettuce, and drizzling olive oil. Kids are more likely to try new foods if they play an active role in choosing and preparing them. Parents and kids cooking together can be rewarding and a great way to create a positive family environment.
All Children's Hospital is partnering with Kohl's Department store to bring Kohl's Cooks for Kids to the Tampa Bay Community. This is a 5-week series that focuses on good nutrition, making healthy choices and gaining valuable culinary skills to prepare delicious food.
The classes will be offered to families free of charge, thanks to a generous donation from Kohl's. Class locations will include Largo and St. Petersburg. All Classes will start in October.
