CLEARWATER – BayCare Health System recently announced that Dr. Charles DeShazer has been appointed vice president of quality and clinical outcomes.
DeShazer has most recently functioned as the vice president of quality, medical informatics and transformation at Dean Health System in Madison, Wis.
DeShazer has more than 25 years of experience that encompasses both clinical practice as an Internal Medicine physician and executive leadership positions. He has held titles such as medical director and VP of medical informatics.
“With his unparalleled experience managing quality, advancing the uses of medical informatics systems, and proven efficient leadership style, Charles DeShazer stood out to us at BayCare,” said Dr. Bruce Flareau in a press release. Flareau is president of BayCare Physician Partners and EVP of BayCare. “As a senior physician executive with broad clinical, managerial and consulting experience we are delighted to have him joining the team.”
