SAFETY HARBOR - The city of Safety Harbor is hosting a Black History Celebration Saturday, Feb. 9, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center, 329 Bayshore Blvd. S.
This free event will feature performances and tributes by local students and key-note speaker the Rev. James V. Williams of Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church. On Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 10:30 a.m., the Museum and Cultural Center will host a free Coffee Talk about the Tuskegee Airmen. Mrs. Wilson will share her stories and photographs from her husband who was a Tuskegee Airman.
The City Gallery at Safety Harbor City Hall, 750 Main St., will be featuring African American art all month.
