BELLEAIR – The Dimmitt Community Center will be offering beginning oil painting lessons starting Thursday, April 3.
Students will learn about paints and brushes, color mixing, composition and all of the basics needed to form a foundation in traditional oil painting methods. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. The class fee is $64 for four weeks of instruction.
The instructor is Betsy Schoepf of Indian Rocks Beach, whose work was recently displayed at Oldsmar City Hall. She also has been instructing at Michael’s in Largo Mall.
Express your own creativity and learn new skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Class size is limited. Classes will consist of demonstrations, painting time and critique sessions. Small classes will allow for individual attention.
