DUNEDIN – The Painted Fish Gallery and Clay and Paper will present “Picture Old Florida” a new summer show featuring Bill Sargent, an award-winning Florida photographer, along with Paul Bendzunas’ hand-blown glass Friday, May 5 through Sunday, June 25.
Bill Sargent’s lush color photographs depict the natural, nostalgic and nearly forgotten places that make us think of “Old Florida.” A resident of Lakeland, he has achieved several first place and best of show awards at juried events around Florida and the Midwest in the past two years. Sargent also will exhibit at the Out of the Blue indoor juried art show Monday and Tuesday, May 22 and 23 at Harborview Center in Clearwater.
Clay and Paper presents Paul Bendzunas’ hand-blown glass, featuring contemporary hand-blown vase designs incorporating birds, fish and wildlife. Bendzunas Glass Studio is in Comer, Ga.
The gallery is at 350 Main St. Visit www.paintedfishgallery.com or call 734-5060 or 736-0934. Summer gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
