Gulf Coast Museum of Art honors student artists

LARGO – TAn opening reception and awards ceremony for Pinellas County High School Survey: Student Exhibition is Sunday, May 18 in the Student Exhibitions Gallery of the Gulf Coast Museum of Art.

Students from Pinellas County’s public and private high schools whose artwork is selected by an independent juror will receive a certificate of achievement for participation in the show.

The Student Exhibition Gallery at the Gulf Coast Museum of Art features two elementary, one middle, and one high school exhibition annually as part of its educational program which provides a creative opportunity for young artists, recognizes talented students and promotes community awareness and support for art education. Educational programs for youth are sponsored by Target and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.
