PINELLAS PARK – Pinellas Park Art Society announced the winners for the July art show, titled “Black and White and One Color.
For photography, first place went to John Carroll for “Water Boy,” second to Jan Proper for “Darwin” and third to Sandy Thomas for “747 in Dunedin.” Bob Boice and Terri Mills earned honorable mentions.
In the fine art category, Barbara Lewis claimed first for “Canada Goose.” Second went to Anton Dolling for “Tiger,” which also won the People’s Choice award, and Terri Mills won third for “Skitty.” Pat Raymond and Jeannine Talley earned honorable mentions while Paula Bouseman and Mary Pincince were given merit awards.
The public can view the society’s monthly art show, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in two ground-floor rooms of Park Station, 5851 Park Blvd.
Many members of the society create art live on Saturdays. The public is invited to view the process and purchase art on display.
