SPC faculty show at Clearwater Main Library

CLEARWATER - The Clearwater Main Library will display ceramic artworks by Kimberly Kirchman and Jonathan Barnes, St. Petersburg College of Fine Arts faculty members, through Aug. 28 in the Osceola Gallery.
Barnes' recent works focus on wood fired and reduction fired stoneware. Barnes said his utilitarian pieces, "complete the making process, enhance the meal, and in turn enhances life."
Kirchman said, "The practice of ceramics binds me to an ancient technology. I am connected to an old knowledge, further reinforcing my sense of place as an individual."
