The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art Offers docent training

TARPON SPRINGS - The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art will offer a docent training course on Fridays from Oct. 5-Nov.9, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the Fine Arts auditorium on the Tarpon Springs campus of St. Petersburg College. St. Petersburg College art history instructor Michaela Oberlaender will teach the course, which focuses on twentieth century art from Impressionism through Post-modernism.
Additional in-depth training by LRMA staff will follow Oberlaender’s course.

The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is located just west of Highway 19 at 600 Klosterman Road, on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St Petersburg College. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday admission is free to all and docent tours are offered at 2 p.m. The Museum is closed on major holidays. Please call ahead for information or directions, 727-712-5762.
