GULFPORT - Domain Home Accessories & Gallery will host a reception featuring the work of award-winning St. Petersburg jewelry artist Valerie Brandli during its next “Meet the Artists” Saturday, Dec. 21, 6 to 10 p.m.
Brandli will be on hand to meet visitors and discuss her work and will be bringing many extra selections of her jewelry and other art work to display and sell for one night only. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, holiday treats and beverages will be offered during the event. A special musical guest, saxophonist Henry Ashwood, will play jazz and holiday standards.
Brandli’s original jewelry designs have been carried by Domain since its inception, and they continue to be popular. Her charming “ear dragon” earrings have been an affordable best seller for many years, and are one of several of Brandli’s nature and spirit-inspired designs.
Beyond jewelry, Brandli also creates other multi-media art pieces, including stone and wire “Earth Angels.” Her Living Arts Studio expresses a mission of “creatively and collectively revealing the Light within all people thru expressions of love, beauty, humor and self-discovery.”
Brandli grew up in small-town Wisconsin, but has been living out her “second childhood” in St. Petersburg for more than 20 years. She has also displayed and sold her jewelry and artwork for many years at St. Petersburg’s popular Saturday Morning Market.
