• Safety Harbor Public Library offers “Wade Into Reading,” a summer reading program for people age 18 and older. The program runs through Friday, Aug. 14.
Complete an entry form every time you read or listen to two books to be eligible for a weekly drawing from local Safety harbor businesses and restaurants. All entries will be eligible for the grand prize drawing in August. Entry forms are available at www.cityofsafetyharbor.com/library or at the library.

• Author talk and book signing Tuesday, June 30, 7 p.m., at the Safety Harbor Public Library, 101 Second St. N. Lisa Unger, New York Times and USA Today and international best-selling author of literary thrillers, will discuss and sign her latest release, “Die for You.” Copies will be available for sale and signing.
• The Evening Book Discussion Group will meet on Tuesday, June 30, 6:30 p.m., at the Tarpon Springs Public Library, 138 East Lemon St., Tarpon Springs. “Elvis Takes a Back Seat” by Leanna Ellis will be discussed. Call 943-4922.
