INDIAN SHORES – The Town of Indian Shores Library plans a Read and Feed event Saturday, July 18, 10 a.m.

The gathering will feature William P. Young’s novel, “The Shack,” a compelling theological fantasy of love, loss and blame.

Preceding the discussion, participants will enjoy a “Breakfast of Champions,” the title of Chapter 8, in which the Holy Trinity serves bacon and eggs, as well as a side of toxic greens. With a twist on this menu, the library staff will offer egg casseroles, quiche and spinach salad.

Cost is $8. The number of participants limited to 24.

Those attending should sign up for the event in the town library by July 15.

The library, located in Indian Shores Town Hall, 19305 Gulf Blvd., is open Monday and Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Several copies of the book are available for checkout. For more information, call 595-2173.
