ST. PETERSBURG - The Florida Orchestra performs Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet in two Tampa Bay Venues, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25-27.

The orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous music inspired by Shakespeare’s plays: Hamlet: Fantasy-Overture after Shakespeare; The Tempest: Fantasy-Overture; and Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy. In collaboration with American Stage Theatre Company, actors will present a brief scene from each play as a prelude to the music. Andrew Grams will conduct.
