DUNEDIN - John Wort Hannam and Scott Duncan are making two Dunedin appearances Friday, Feb. 8, including a free short set at 6 p.m. in Pioneer Park, followed by an indoor concert at Painted Fish Gallery at 8 p.m.

Singer-songwriter John Wort Hannam and fiddler Scott Duncan are from Ft. McLeod, Alberta where Hannam has earned a Juno nomination for Best Traditional/Roots album and a Canadian Folk Music Award for Album of the Year. He has released five albums including the new "Brambles & Thorns" (October 2012).
Following a highly successful two-week Gordon Lightfoot Tribute tour in Canada, Hannam and Duncan will be in Tampa Bay area, Friday, Feb. 8, performing at the Painted Fish Gallery, which is gaining a reputation for hosting occasional indoor acoustic concerts bring the best in local, regional, national & international musicians in an intimate art filled setting.
In the 10 years since he became a working musician, John has captured seven grand prize or first place awards for his songwriting. His music has taken him from his home in Alberta to his birthplace, the Isle of Jersey, UK, for appearances in festivals from Trafalgar Square to the Smithsonian to Kerrville, Texas.
