ST. PETERSBURG - The illusion of the Fab Four in concert, circa 1964-69, comes to life at The Mahaffey Theater Friday, March 8, at 8 p.m.

Dubbed by Rolling Stone as “the Best Beatles Tribute on Earth,” “1964”…The Tribute once again dazzles a whole new generation of fans while staying true to the memories many have held dear for more than 40 years.

For more than 28 years, Mark Benson as John Lennon, Graham Alexander as Paul McCartney, Tom Work as George Harrison and Bobby Potter as Ringo Starr have successfully re-created the concert experience of The Beatles from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era – from wardrobe to hairstyles, Liverpool accents, singing nuances and vintage instruments.

Critics and fans internationally have hailed “1964”…The Tribute as the most authentic Beatles tribute in the world. The band has toured around the world at major concert venues such as Red Rocks in Denver, Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, Shea Stadium, The Philharmonic in Liverpool. Notably, “1964” has performed a dozen times at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
