ST. PETERSBURG - The Palladium Theater updated the remainder of its March schedule. One important note is that the Tribute to Manzy Harris and Rey Davis on Saturday, March 18, has been canceled. Other events coming up in March are as follows.
• Friday, March 17, 8 p.m., Hough Hall - Europe's Most Popular Singer: In-Grid. Tickets are $35, $45 and $55.
Ingrid was named after the famous film star, Ingrid Bergman. Her parents ran a cinema (and still do) and Ingrid grew up watching movies which she said were a major influence on her decision to become a singer. Films sparked her imagination and fueled her ambition to communicate strong emotions to as many people as possible.
She started acting, painting and singing, soon to discover that for her music was the most powerful form of expression. She began singing locally in her native Northern Italy and soon got a reputation for her great stage presence and the energy and color of her voice.
• Sunday, March 19, 7 p.m., Hough Hall - Rose Bilal and the Jazztorian present "Women of Jazz."
This show stars international recording sensation the Lynn Arrile Trio and artists Rose Bilal, Lorri Haffer, Katt Hefner, Diane Linscott, Denise Moore and Belinda Womack.
Tickets are $15 to $20.
• Monday, March 20, 7:30 p.m., Hough Hall - Mozart's Requiem, Tampa Oratorio Society with piano accompaniment. Tickets are $10 and $18.
Tampa Oratorio Singers will present a celebration of life, death ... and a mystery more than 200 years in the making - Mozart's Requiem. Although he died before its completion, the "Requiem" is considered one of Mozart's greatest and most recognized works.
Mozart's wife, Constanze, commissioned a close family friend, Joseph Eybler to finish the piece. Eybler however, soon became overwhelmed with the magnitude of the work. Consequently, Constanze turned to Sussamayr, a pupil of Mozart to complete much of the work. To this day, scholars are still not sure who else penned the final notes.
In total, Mozart composed more than 600 musical masterpieces. Despite his success, he died penniless in 1791 at the age of 35 in Vienna.
The 75-member Tampa Oratorio is comprised of local artists representing various backgrounds in classical music. The Oratorio enjoys a unique history as the oldest Classical chorus in the Tampa Bay area, and is the choir in residence at the University of Tampa.
• Tuesday, March 21, 7:30 p.m., Hough Hall - Encore Chamber Music Series, Quantum Winds with Dee Moses. Tickets are $10, $12 and $15.
The performance features John Fleming, talk back moderator; Marty Herbert, oboe; Catherine Landmeyer, flute; Brian Moorehead, clarinet; Dee Moses, bass; Mark Sforzini, bassoon; and James Wilson, horn.

Bossa nova is a style of Brazilian music invented in the late 1950s by a group of middle-class students and musicians living in the Copacabana and Ipanema beachside districts of Rio de Janeiro . The name could be translated as "the new beat" or "the new way." Antonio Carlos Jobim is recognized the world over as one of the most influential composers of the 20th century.

Cedar Hill has recently signed with Hay Holler Records of Blacksburg, Virginia, recognized for producing traditional bluegrass music.
