The Safety Harbor Singer Songwriter Festival is Friday through Sunday, April 4-6.
SAFETY HARBOR – If original music is your thing, then Safety Harbor is the place to be this weekend as more than 30 mostly acoustic acts perform Americana Singer-Songwriter tunes.
The Safety Harbor Singer Songwriter Festival is Friday through Sunday, April 4-6. Friday’s kickoff event is at 6 p.m. at Safety Harbor Museum, 329 Bayshore Blvd. S. Saturday and Sunday, the stage is outdoors at Safety Harbor Waterfront Park, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane.
Artists also will perform at other local venues throughout the weekend.
Organizers say that the music of The Safety Harbor Singer Songwriter festival is primarily acoustic focusing on what some people label “new Americana.”
“Our performers express a wide range of influences including blues, bluegrass, folk, country, jazz, pop, world beat, and more,” the press release said.
A three-day pass costs $40 plus $3.75 processing fee at the website, safetyharborsingersongwriterfestival.com. Single day tickets are $25 at the gate. Gates will open at noon. Saturday’s music continues until 10 p.m. Sunday’s performances end at 9 p.m.
