CLEARWATER - The Ruth Eckerd Hall Children’s Choir, Teen Troupe and Teen Choir will be at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, May 10 at 10:30 am.
This must-see performance will reflect the days of the Renaissance, knights, nobles, jesters, peasants and minstrels gathering throughout the land where sounds of trumpets and madrigals and drama unfolds.
Tickets are available for $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under the age of 12 at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater, by calling 727-791-7400 or online at www.rutheckerdhall.com. The Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to showtime.
The Ruth Eckerd Hall Children’s Choir prides itself both in entertaining its audiences and in achieving music literacy for all its members. Its performances reflect the diversity of choral repertoire.
Preparatory students from 14 to 18 years of age apply to become part of the Ruth Eckerd Hall Teen Troupe and are eligible to use this as their community service project for Bright Futures Scholarships. The Teen Performing Troupe creates a thematic presentation of songs which are selected, rehearsed and choreographed by the students.
The Ruth Eckerd Hall Teen Choir is a four-part ensemble that endeavors to provide local teens an opportunity to work together in building mastery of song as well as camaraderie.
The Ruth Eckerd Hall Children’s Choir, Teen Troupe and Teen Choir are part of The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
