TAMPA - The Alicia Keys "As I Am" Tour with special guests Ne-Yo with Jordin Sparks is coming to the St. Pete Times Forum on Saturday, May 24, 8 p.m.
The tour will build upon the unparalleled success of Keys’ latest album, As I Am, and continue her reign as one of the most prolific performers and songwriters of this generation.
The U.S. and Canadian portion of the tour kicked off on April 19th in Hampton, VA. Iconic designer Giorgio Armani has added his creative style to the Alicia Keys As I Am Tour by designing a custom wardrobe for his friend, the multi-talented songwriter, performer and producer comprising three key looks inspired by both the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani collections.
Enjoying one of the most phenomenally successful years of her career as a performer, producer and songwriter, Keys, who has won nine Grammys and has sold over 40 million albums and singles worldwide, is one of the most celebrated recording artists in the world. Her new album, As I Am, continues its success, recently claiming the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart selling over 2.7 million since its Nov. 13, 2007 release, when it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts with sales of over 740,000 albums.
Always a Grammy favorite, Keys recently received two nominations for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for “No One.”
