Summer Jazz series set at Azalea Rec

ST. PETERSBURG - Amelia Eartheart Productions recently announced the scheduled for the Summer Community Jazz Series at the Azalea Recreation Center, 1600 72nd St. N., St. Petersburg.

The events are scheduled for the last Sunday of June, July and August at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission and on sale now at www.ameliaeartheartproductions.com. Parking is free and the concession will be serving refreshments.

The season opens on Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m. with “Campfire,” This concert features renowned jazz guitarist, Larry Camp, performing straight ahead jazz, and honors such great performing artists as Thelonius Monk, Charlie Parker and Randy Westin, as well as original tunes.  This will be an exceptional instrumental performance not to be missed.

The second and final performances have been canceled.

Amelia Eartheart Productions, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers dedicated to creating high quality musical performances to enrich the lives of children and community. It provides “Random Acts of Music” to local charities, assisted living facilities and community recreation centers, as well as delivering exceptional community performances throughout the year.
