He was already an accomplished musician when he was asked to join the “Fab Four” in Liverpool. His drumming style has continued to influence popular music to this day.
Starr has pursued a successful solo career since the breakup of the Beatles ("Back Off Boogaloo," "Photograph," co-written with George Harrison, "You’re Sixteen," among others).
With his All Starr Band including Billy Squier (Stroke), Gary Wright (The Dream Weaver), Edgar Winter (Frankenstein), Hamish Stuart (bass player for Paul McCartney) and Colin Hay (Men At Work Down Under and Who Can It Be Now), Ringo shares the stage with other well-known rock musicians, offering an eclectic and interesting variety of music.
