Ticket sales begin July 18 for Vince Gill

CLEARWATER – Ruth Eckerd Hall presents an Acoustic Evening with Vince Gill on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $49.50 and $42.50 and will be available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater; by calling 727-791-7400; or online at www.rutheckerdhall.com. The Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to showtime. Group seating is available by calling 727-712-2717.

Vince Gill, a native of Norman, Okla. , will bring favorites like "I Still Believe in You," "Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away," "One More Last Chance" and "What The Cowgirls Do" when he comes to Ruth Eckerd Hall for an acoustic evening of music.

Gill has sold more than 26 million albums. He has earned 18 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year in 1993 and 1994. He is tied with George Strait for having won the most CMA Male Vocalist Awards (five) and is currently second only to Brooks and Dunn for accumulating the most CMA Awards in history.

Gill is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and has received 19 Grammy® Awards to date, the most of any male country artist. In August 2007, the Country Music Association inducted Gill as the newest member of the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame.
