TAMPA - Projekt Revolution is coming to the Ford Amphitheatre at the State Fairgrounds in Tampa on Saturday, Aug. 11. Doors open at 12:45 p.m.
Tampa Bay Newspapers’ Online is offering a chance to win a prize package including one pair of tickets to Projekt Revolution at the Ford Amphitheatre on Aug. 11; a Taking Back Sunday CD and T-shirt; and a Saosin CD and T-shirt.
Entries must be received no later than midnight Monday, July 30. All entries are subject to official rules.
To enter, send an e-mail with the subject “I Want Tickets” to webmaster@tbnweekly.com.
All entries must include first and last name, full mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and date of birth. You must be at least age 18 to enter. The winner will be selected randomly and notified by Aug. 1.
Featured artists for the 2007 Projekt Revolution tour include Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo and Julien-K on the Main Stage. Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles of Beyond and Madina Lake will perform in the Revolution Stage.
Tickets range in price from $70 to $24.50 for festival lawn and are available online at www.livenation.com and all Ticketmaster locations.
Projekt Revolution is a unique tour experience that merges a variety of music styles personally selected by platinum recording artists Linkin Park, who created the tour in 2001. The annual tour features revolutionary, cutting-edge talent.
The 2007 Projekt Revolution is a “Green Tour.” Organizers are promoting it as an environmentally conscious event. Projekt Revolution and Music for Relief will donate $1 for each ticket to American Forests for its Global ReLeaf program to plant trees to help reduce global temperatures.
The tour is produced by Live Nation and partnered with Major League Baseball, “Halo 3” for Xbox 360, Monster Energy Drink, etnies, and Nowwhat.com.
The Ford Amphitheatre is located at the Florida State Fairgrounds 4802 U.S. 301 N.
Visitors should enter the Fairgrounds via U.S. Highway 301 or the MLK, Jr. Blvd. entrance. Only guests with VIP parking should enter through Orient Road.
Projekt Revolution Prize Package Contest Official Rules No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contestants must be age 18 or older. Employees of Tampa Bay Newspapers and their immediate families and those living in the household of same are not eligible to enter or win. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules.
The contest begins at midnight Friday, July 20, 2007 and ends at midnight Monday, July 30, 2007.
Only entries received by e-mail to webmaster@tbnweekly.com will be accepted and must be received by midnight Monday, July 30. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

Entries must include “I Want Tickets” in the subject line of the e-mail message. Contestants must provide full name, including first and last name, full mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and birth date. The information will be used solely to determine prize eligibility, as well as to notify the winner. The address received on the entry also will be used as the delivery address for the prize. The information will not be shared, sold or otherwise used for any other purpose.
One winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries.
Prize winner will be notified following drawing, with the delivery of their prize via mail or other delivery service selected by Fanscape.
Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash and no substitution for a prize by the winner will be allowed. All Federal and state tax liabilities, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use of winner's name, address (city and state), likeness and statements for publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission.

Tampa Bay Newspapers shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond TBN's sole control.
Tampa Bay Newspapers shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions with regard to the prize package.
