LARGO - Experience an amazing tribute to legendary Jim Morrison and The Doors with Peace Frog on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m. at the Largo Cultural Center.
Peace Frog recreates the magic and intensity of The Doors. Based out of California, lead singer Tony Fernandez delivers a powerful portrayal of the true likeness of Morrison in presence, vocals, mannerisms and spirit.
Mystical and hypnotic, the band demonstrates the uncanny ability to transform any room into an actual Doors concert experience. With intoxicating renditions of "Hello, I Love You," "Light My Fire," "L.A. Woman," "People Are Strange," "The End," "Riders on The Storm" and many of the Doors classic hits, Peace Frog has the crowd entranced.
Tickets for the Festival Style (standing only) concert are $19. Call the Box Office at 727-587-6793, ticketmaster.com and visit largoarts.com.
A Doors Tribute Kickoff Party begins at 6:30 p.m. complete with food and a chance to bid on a piece of history. Be the first to own a commissioned painted door from a childhood home of Jim Morrison in Clearwater. The door was painted by local artist, Doug Wright.
The Largo Cultural Center is located at 105 Central Park Drive.
