TAMPA - “Flashback – The Classic Rock Experience,” featuring the Mystic Orchestra, is about to come storming the concert arenas of America – and the St. Pete Times Forum is the second stop scheduled on Friday, Aug. 29, 8 p.m.

With its elite team of musicians, technical wizards and design specialists, “Flashback – the Classic Rock Experience,” delivers the hit music of the all-time greatest artists: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and more, presented in a mind-boggling multi-media spectacle one must see to believe.

With music director Frank Gilcken at the helm, the Mystic Orchestra features 14 brilliant rock musicians and singers, as well as an 11-piece string-and-horn section, together elevating classic rock to new heights.

The nearly three-hour show reworks indelible songs of the most highly regarded era in rock: the Doors’ “Light My Fire” and “Riders on the Storm.” Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart” and “Mercedes Benz.” Jimi Hendrix masterpieces like “Purple Haze” and “Foxy Lady.”

Tickets are $19.75, $29.75, $39.75, $59.75 and available at the McDonald's Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum and all Ticketmaster Outlets including FYE. To order tickets by phone, call Ticketmaster at 813-287-8844 or 727-898-2100. A limted number of VI seats are available for $152.75. Kids tickets are $9.75. Prices do not include service charges.
