ST. PETERSBURG – Piano tunes will fly off the fingers of Rich Ridenour during the opening concerts of The Florida Orchestra’s Pops Season set for Oct. 3 through 5.

Concerts will include:

• Friday, Oct. 3, 8 p.m. – Ferguson Hall, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa.

• Saturday, Oct. 4, 8 p.m. – Progress Energy Center for the Arts, Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S., St. Petersburg.

• Sunday, Oct. 5, 7:30 p.m. – Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 N. McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater.

Whether you love Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Little Richard, Billy Joel or Mozart, Ridenour plays it all, even taking requests from the audience. Ridenour has built a formidable career performing concerts of great piano favorites ranging from classical masterworks to American ragtime, jazz and rock and roll.
