On Friday, Oct. 5, 9 p.m. Bananarama plays the Hard Rock Café in honor of the brands 13th annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness campaign.
TAMPA – Hard Rock Cafe Tampa adds a pop of PINK this October in honor of the brand’s 13th annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness campaign. On Friday, Oct. 5, 9 p.m. Bananarama, best known for the chart topping singles “Venus,” “Cruel Summer” and “I Heard a Rumor” will take the stage at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Bananarama will perform in honor of PINK, while celebrating their 30th anniversary as the most successful female pop group in history. As the group turns 30, an age when breast cancer screening becomes increasingly critical, Bananarama is driving awareness to appeal to their fan base and beyond.

Hard Rock’s commitment to breast cancer awareness and research continues throughout October with PINK menu offerings, “PINK Sheets Rooms” and limited-edition merchandise benefiting a variety of charities including The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) and local breast cancer charities around the globe.

Hard Rock’s PINKTOBER™ gives fans the opportunity to show their promise to PINK throughout the month. Fans can visit Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa and party for PINK, dancing the night away to the sounds of icons and rising stars to benefit local breast cancer organizations. Eat and drink PINK with Hard Rock’s non-alcoholic PINK drinks and dining on PINK menu offerings. Get noticed in stylish shades of PINK with Hard Rock’s PINKTOBER™ merchandise including the PINKTOBER™ 2012 T-shirt, bracelet, robe, PINK Sheets, pin and more. Products are sold exclusively at Hard Rock properties worldwide, including Cafes, Hotels, Casinos and on www.hardrom.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER™ products will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® and The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) with 75 percent of the retail price of each pin and 15 percent of the retail price of other products going directly to the cause.

Hard Rock Cafe Tampa is in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino located at 5223 North Orient Road, Tampa.

Tickets are $15 for the general admission standing-room-only show and are available at the Hard Rock Store and all Ticketmaster outlets online at www.ticketmaste or charge by phone: 1-800-745-3000.
