This concert has become the premier Latin music event in Tampa Bay, featuring a day full of top-rated Latin artists entertaining thousands.
Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Farruko was the first artist to be named a headliner at the Maxima Concierto Herencia Hispana. Farruko was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2012 for Best Urban Music Album and is best known for popular hits like “6 AM,” “Sunset,” “Chillax” and more.
Maxima also announced renowned salsa artist Victor Manuelle as another artist performing at this year’s concert. Manuelle is a Latin Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. He currently holds the record for most No. 1s on Billboard’s Tropical Songs chart, breaking the previous record held by Marc Anthony. Some of Manuelle’s hits include “Que Suenen Los Tambores,”
“Asi Es La Mujer,” “Sal A Bailar” and more.
Other musicians scheduled to perform include Jacob Forever, Nacho and Jowell Y Randy.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. According to event organizers, $10 from every ticket sold online will be donated to Somos Una Voz.
Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez created Somos Una Voz, an alliance of artists working together to rush food, shelter, medicine, power and communications to those in need from the effects of the recent natural disasters.
