Rock legend John Waite to perform

LARGO – Renowned British singer and songwriter John Waite will perform Sunday, Oct. 15, 7:30 p.m., at the Largo Cultural Center.
Waite, who fronted The Babys and Bad English bands before embarking on a solo career, will delight fans with songs from his latest album, “The Hard Way,” along with some of his hits, “Missing You,” “When I See You Smile,” “Change” and “Every Time I Think Of You.”
Waite, whose remarkable 20-year career has spawned numerous chart topping hits, has written and recorded several songs for Hollywood movies and enjoyed a brief stint on a Ringo Starr concert tour.
Dean Johanesen and Scott Anderson of The Human Condition will be performing as the opening act. The Human Condition have performed acoustic and full band shows in the last couple of years with Kevn Kinney, Martha Wainwright, Garrison Star, Michelle Malone, Mason Jennings and Donavon Frankenreiter. After Johanesen and Anderson’s performance as part of the Largo Cultural Centers 10 year Birthday Bash, the two were invited back to open this show with John Waite.
