Tickets are $41.50, $61.50 and $141.50 for a special VIP package. The VIP ticket will grant entry into an exclusive Mix 100.7 pre-show party from 5-7 p.m., best seats within the first six rows, free parking, commemorative laminate, event T-shirt and more! The Goo Goo Dolls made their mark 20 years ago and recently released their latest album, Magnetic. Renowned for their commercially successful 1998 single “Iris,” the band has released nine albums, had 14 top ten singles on various charts and sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. “Iris” was ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s “Top 100 Pop Songs 1992-2012” chart last October.
Magnetic has 11 news songs from the celebratory single “Rebel Beat” to the love-rediscovery ballad “Slow It Down” to the blue-collar anthem “Keep the Car Running.” Band members are primary singer, songwriter and guitarist John Rzeznik, bassist Robby Takas and drummer Mike Malinin.
The Fray, a rock band from Denver, achieved national success with their debut album, How to Save a Life, in 2005. The single, “Over My Head (Cable Car),” became a Top 10 hit in the United States, and the release of their second single, “How to Save a Life,” brought them worldwide fame.
The song charted in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 and was a top 5 single in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The Fray’s second album, self-titled and released in 2009, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, certified gold in the US and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. The Fray (band members Isaac Slade, Joe King, Dave Welsh and Ben Wysocki) was ranked No. 84 on Billboard’s “Artists of the Decade” list.
Musician and songwriter ZZ Ward sings soul, blues, pop and hip-hop and released her debut album, Til the Casket Drops, in October 2012. Her first single, “Put the Gun Down,” broke into the Top 10 on the AAA radio chart on Feb. 3, 2013. ZZ Ward performed this song on VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagen, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan.
“Put the Gun Down” also broke into the Top 40 on the Billboard Alternative chart.
Michael Franti began his career in an industrial punk, spoken word band and now blends hip-hop with a variety of other music styles with his band, Michael Franti & Spearhead. Franti is an outspoken supporter for a wide spectrum of peace and social justice issues and hosted the annual Power to the Peaceful free festival in San Francisco for a decade.
