CLEARWATER – Full Throttle Magazine is hosting the 2013 Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Jan. 25-27 at Quaker Steak & Lube, 10400 49th St. N. in the Clearwater/Pinellas Park area.
The Bike Builder Invitational features $10,000 in prizes to be awarded to the top motorcycles built by the best bike builders. The bikes will be on display throughout the expo.
The free, three-day family-friendly event will feature music, vendors, raffle prizes, $100 hourly giveaways, food, and more.
Friday evening kicks off with music by Wikkid at 4 p.m. followed by the Greg Billings Band from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Saturday's music lineup starts with the Jenna Stone Band at 10 a.m., followed by Jeff Vitolo and the Quarter Mile Rebels at 12:30 p.m., Black Honkeys at 3 p.m. The Miss Full Throttle Contest is set from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by a fireworks show. Blues Brothers Band ends the night with music from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Music on Sunday will be provided by Selective Memory at 10:30 a.m. and Soul Circus Cowboys at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday features one of the largest ride-in bike shows in Florida and the Bike Builder Invitational awards. Bike show registration is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Judges from the International Master Bike Builders Association will choose the top motorcycles submitted. Bike Builders will display never-before-seen motorcycles for the first time. Invitational awards will be announced from 3 to 4 p.m. Ride in bike awards will start at 5 p.m.
