Members of Quilter’s Crossing Quilt Guild of Palm Harbor get ready for the 13th biennial quilt show entitled “Quilting Under the Palms,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 25-26, at Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Palms Drive in Clearwater.
PALM HARBOR - Quilter’s Crossing Quilt Guild of Palm Harbor presents its 13th biennial quilt show entitled “Quilting Under the Palms,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 25-26, at Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Palms Drive in Clearwater.
The show features 200 traditional and contemporary quilts on display. In addition, there will be a small quilt auction, a boutique, “Couture, Décor & More” exhibit, vendors, door prizes, demonstrations and raffle baskets, including one with a Featherweight Sewing Machine.
A drawing will be held for a new sewing machine courtesy of Sue’s Bay Area Sewing.
Athena House Tampa Crossroads, a residence for female homeless military veterans, will receive all the proceeds from the sale of tickets of the Charity Quilt. Tickets may be purchased at the show for $1 each.
Free parking will be available. Large groups and buses are welcome.
