Classic cars rolling into Gulfport

GULFPORT - So Classic Car Show is Saturday, Feb. 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Tangerine Greenway, 49th Street and 18th Avenue South, Gulfport.
First, second and third place awards will be given in several categories, including Best of Show, Best Paint Job, Best Classic Restoration, Best Interior, Flashiest Hot Rod, Most Unique Classic, Best Engine, Club Award Most Registered car club Members at show, Oldest Car, Best Classic Truck, Best Custom, Most unique car trunk, Best Patina, Most Elaborate wheels, Best Ford, GM, Mazda, Toyota, Chrysler Dodge, Rarest Car, Oldest car, Most Radical Custom, Best custom site design and costume for ERA of your entry.
A Mayor's Choice Grand Champion of show also will be awarded.
Food and alcohol will be available on site, so no coolers. The family-friendly event includes a large area for kids, as well as live music and costumed characters.
Early registration is $10 and $15 at the gate.
