The Open Your Heart for UPARC Committee, The Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens Foundation, along with the Open Your Heart for UPARC Committee and Georgette Diaz of Georgette’s Boutique and Show Salon, will host the seventh annual Open Your Heart for UPARC Fashion Show and Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Inverness Hall at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, 36750 U.S. 19 N., Palm Harbor.
The show will feature celebrity models and hosts, fashions from Georgette’s Boutique and Shoe Salon in Tampa, a uniquely choreographed high-energy show, select boutique items from Georgette’s, a Chinese raffle with a wide variety of prizes, and a 50/50 raffle.
The show frequently is a sell-out with a waiting list eager to take advantage of last minute cancellations.
UPARC, the largest member of the The Arc in the State of Florida, provides programs such as employment training, home living skills training, along with its world renowned residential and day programs. These programs are designed to improve the self-sufficiency, self-esteem and quality of life of 500 people with developmental disabilities and their families.
