George Landon creates a first place award fairy house at the first-ever competition at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival
TAMPA - The Fairy Garden features one-of-a-kind fairy houses created by fans for the new Fairy House Competition at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival at MOSI in Tampa.
The Fairy Garden is a place for all believers to discover whimsy, magic, and of course fairies! Fairy houses of all shapes, sizes, colors, and designs have been specially made by patrons to contribute to the new Fairy Garden at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival.
More than 75 talented and creative adults and kids have constructed beautiful houses that are now on display for all visitors and will remain there for all seven weekends. Patrons had the opportunity to vote for their favorite house to crown the best fairy house of the Realm!
Prizes were awarded to the top three fairy houses and the grand prize winner, George Landon, won two season passes to this year’s Festival.
The Bay Area Renaissance Festival continues through April 7. The Festival is open weekends, with a special day for schools and seniors on Festival Friday, March 22. The Festival is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. rain or shine.
